Jon Gilchrist is based in North Central Indiana and first experienced a darkroom in 6th grade. His favorite places to hang out back then were the empty buildings on his grandmother's farm and the furnace room in the basement. Decades later he's still most comfortable behind a lens and still hangs out in abandoned buildings and warm dark places. And occasionally cold dark places.
